Background

I graduated from the esteemed Illinois Institute of Art, Schaumburg, where my formal training set the stage for an exciting career in design. My early years were spent at the illustrious LOCD Design Group, formerly known as Laura O'Connor Design. It was here that I honed my skills, learning from some of the most talented and inspirational women in the field. Their mentorship instilled in me the values of integrity and excellence, which continue to guide my practice today. To these incredible ladies, I owe a debt of gratitude, and I’m proud to still count them as friends and family.

Exploring the Design World

While my time at LOCD was invaluable, I felt a calling to explore the vast world of design beyond those walls. My subsequent roles included leading residential and commercial remodeling projects, as well as working in the furniture dealership sector as a Team Lead and Lead Interior Designer. Each experience enriched my understanding of design, shaping my vision and reinforcing my belief that I was destined to start my own company.

Revival House Design Company, LLC is more than just a business; it’s a manifestation of my dedication to honor, integrity, and transparency in every project. I believe in the words of Charles Eames, “Design is the art of constraints,” and I thrive on the challenges that come with creating beautiful, functional spaces within those constraints.
